Hello there. I am Cynthia Nahin. I believe you will find that I am an average American Jane Doe whose curiosity will always be unsatiable! I am always seeking answers to the unknown, and happily keep an open positive mind.
I am an individual who is fascinated with the conscious and sub-conscious brain. My curiousity in these areas were developed since early childhood. I would seek out all fields of study scientific or spiritual that were related to the conscious thoughts. When I was 12 years old, I had experienced my first Gran Mal seizure and it was determined that I had Epilepsy. Unfortunately, over the years, no actual diagnosis has been determined for this symptom! I was amazed that with all of the technology and tests, that there still were so many unknowns! I had suffered through many challenges throughout my life, sexual and physical abuses since the early age of 6 that carried forward into a violent unhealthy marriage, that had me turning to meditation and meta physical as an escape. I did not truly understand early on, that I was just running in circles and that I was not really getting anywhere. The challenges and frustrations, were still apart of me, I wasn't letting them go, I was not freeing myself from them. I was still allowing myself to be the 'poor lil victim'. Then, I really did have a wake up call! I was forced against the wall and realized that I was not being true to myself! I really could not be a role model for my daughters with just words! I had to show them and myself, the cycle can be broken and they can achieve a successful, happy and abundant life! That you have sole responsibility for every choice you make in life, whether it be right or wrong. You are in control! No one else! If you make an error in your judgement, admit it, learn from it...so you don't make it again, forgive yourself and move forward making better choices! I really have been able to transform my life and look forward to each new day. I no longer wait until New Year's Eve to make a list of resolutions that will be forgotten after a few weeks! I am always in the process of beginning a new goal, taking a step on another, or achieving success and feeling the accomplished satisfaction of completion. These goals are not all about business, I have personal, health, spiritual, etc goals. Some are just mini goals, my little stress busters, for example...take 10 minutes to close my eyes and just relax daily. I am an avid do it yourself hobbyist! Thank goodness, for goal setting and visualization processes. I have 2 complete encyclopaedia collections on do it yourself popular mechanics and just household whatever! True, there from the 60's but a little tweaking and wahlah, it is a new innovative design for my home and me. I just need the basic how to instructions anyway, I really hate measuring. My projects are always one of a kind and unique. That's me. I love to create and make things just for the fun of it. I am creating this website for those who are not local and who are interested in the more do-it-yourself approach! Everyone who knows me, realizes that I will expound upon you the virtues of tapping into your creativity and make your approach unique! Everyone is unique. What works for John Doe...won't necessary work exactly for Jane. She may have to tweak it slightly so that it is more her style! That is how our sub-conscious works! Most individual think that if they follow a specific plan or blueprint exactly, an exact result should be guaranteed! WRONG! What I have discovered in my research and through my own experiences, is that you have to make it true specifically for YOU. Your conscious and sub-conscious thoughts will defeat your process if it does not ring true with them. So, understand yourself first. Honestly, that is why it is best to speak with another individual you can trust. It is hard to really question ourselves to get to the truth. I admit, I did have my break through with counseling, it opened my eyes and the end result was I was able to explore further and find a purpose for myself. I gained momentum with my purpose and goal achievement as I acquired my certifications, as a Neuro-linguistics Practioner, Hypnotist, and Life Coach. Realizing that my life experiences and my consuming curiousity for the conscious and sub-conscious thoughts and behavior patterns was always directing me towards my purpose in life. I have expanded into using Tarot and Astrology as a healing and resourceful meditation tool. You can often meditate and reach down deep, seeking what you really want for yourself or try to discover what is holding you back sub-consciously. You really have to be honest, take off the blinders, that we all wear. Sometimes, you just need to be able to share things with someone you won't ever see again! That's why if you have a family member or friend who is a coach, counselor, therapist, hypnotist, doctor, etc...will usually want to refer you to see another specialist. Its in your best interests! I am just adding this for those who may want to elect their best friend or spouse, to decide whether you really will share all, or if you do, will you regret it? Uh huh... Everyone in this world is going to face some kind of challenge at some point in their lives. That I can guarantee. Challenges are not bad, they are there to help you grow, they challenge you.
